Whatyou’lldo:

• Lead planning, execution, and delivery of external audit engagementsin accordance withregulatory and professional standards

• Manage and mentor audit teams, ensuring quality, efficiency, and compliance throughout the audit lifecycle

• Build andmaintainstrong client relationships by understanding their business, risks, and audit requirements

• Oversee the identification and assessment of financial and control risks and develop audit strategies to address them

• Provideinsightful advice on financial reporting matters and emerging regulatory changes to clients and internal teams

• Drive continuous improvement initiatives in audit processes and encourage innovation within your teams

• Collaborate with stakeholders across the business to resolve complex audit issues and deliver value-added solutions

Whatwe’relooking for:

• Financial Expertise: At least 5 years’ experience in external audit, preferably with exposure to CIPS or related sectors, and a recognised CA qualification

• Leadership and Management: Proven ability to lead and develop audit teams, manage multiple audit engagements and priorities, and deliver high-quality outcomes

• Client Relationship Management: Strong interpersonal skills to engage, influence, and build trust with senior client stakeholders

• Technical Skills: Deep knowledge of auditing standards, financial reporting frameworks, and regulatory requirements relevant to CIPS

• Problem Solving: Ability to analyse complex financial and business issues, exercise professional judgement, and provide practical recommendations

• Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of presenting complex audit findings clearly to diverse audiences
