Senior Quantity Surveyor

• Able to work under own initiative carrying out day to day quantity surveying / commercial functions, managing and supervising Project Surveyor, reporting to the Commercial Manager on infrastructure work for large waste landfill projects
• Preparation of main contract and valuation of Employer’s Change Orders, contract budget and cost forecast
• Subcontract tender inquiry preparation, analysis and subcontract administration in compliance with the Company’s procedures and systems
• Carrying out assessment and negotiation of sub-contractors’ variations, interim payments, claims and final accounts
• Liaising with the Engineering / Site Team and Procurement Team to carry out research on variation and claim issues for the preparation of contractual correspondence by the Commercial Manager
• Other ad hoc commercial tasks as assigned by the Commercial Manager
• Prepare weekly and monthly report
• Degree holder in Quantity Surveying or Construction Commercial Management
• Construction Safety (Green Card) Training
• Good command of both spoken and written English and Chinese

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience in infrastructure projects with a Main Contractor
• Member of RICS / HKIS / CICES will be an advantage but not essential
• Knowledge of cost accounting and procurement software systems
• Experience on Hong Kong GCC contracts and NEC4 Target Cost contracts is an advantage
• Proficient in MS office (Excel) / Google applications and Power Point
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and PrimaveraP6 will be advantage
• Required to work at different offices of the Company according to the Company’s requirement
