Job Requirements

Apex Hospitals is looking for an experienced Stores and Purchase Assistant Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the purchasing and inventory of all medical supplies and equipment. This includes researching and selecting suppliers, negotiating contracts, and ensuring that all orders are delivered on time and within budget. The Assistant Manager will also be responsible for maintaining accurate records of all purchases and inventory levels.

The ideal candidate should have a Diploma in Purchase/Graduation and at least 3 years of experience in a similar role. They should have excellent communication and negotiation skills, as well as the ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

  • Research and select suppliers for medical supplies and equipment
  • Negotiate contracts with suppliers
  • Monitor inventory levels and ensure that all orders are delivered on time and within budget
  • Maintain accurate records of all purchases and inventory levels
  • Monitor supplier performance and ensure that all orders are fulfilled in accordance with the contract
  • Liaise with other departments to ensure that all orders are fulfilled in a timely manner
  • Ensure that all purchases are compliant with company policies and procedures
