On behalf of our customer, a multinational Japanese manufacturing company, we are looking for a Mechanical Field Service Engineer (1347) Home based, international travelling required Company information In Europe, our customer is a supplier of machines and spare parts for the packaging industry. They serve the EMEA region, as well as South Africa and South America. As the company is growing, they are looking for a new mechanical field service engineer to join their team. Job description As Mechanical Field Service Engineer you will be responsible for the installation, service and troubleshooting for the machines. International traveling to customers is required for this role. The role assumes the following responsibilities, but is not limited to:
• Supporting customers in machine installation; assembling and adjusting the machine according to the technical documents or drawings provided by the company - Providing training to operators and technicians who will operate the machines - Supporting customers with their operations, maintenance and troubleshooting on the machines (sometimes support via email or phone call is needed) - Creating detailed reports on the carried out work, making up parts lists and giving advices to customers on parts replacement needs and parts needed to be kept at site in case of trouble Job requirements In order to qualify for this versatile and challenging position, required are at least the following criteria:
