M. Region International is responsible for marketing and sales of the complete range of Volvo Penta products including Parts and accessories via its importers within Eastern Europe, Middle East, Africa, Oceania, Pacific Basin and Asia. In “Marketing & Sales, Marine and Industrial Power Systems” you will be working with some of the most interesting and inspiring countries, cultures and people in the world.

As a Sales Engineer Marine & Industrial Power Systems at Region International you will be connected to an area team responsible for marketing and sales within a geographical area, within Middle East and South Asia. The role includes responsibility for application engineering and technical support to our private importers, OEMs and Area sales managers. Your main responsibility will be technical aspects of sales projects, but also to be expert trainer role with the responsibility to develop the sales engineering skills throughout the Importers within Region International. The main focus for this role will be within the marine segment, but there will also be a requirement to support in the industrial engine side.

Main areas of responsibility Support sales organization with technical input required to negotiate commercial solutions Be a member of the sales team to specify the right product for the application Support OEM installation with technical data, drawings / models, documentation and application know-how Collect boat data, perform calculations and do measurements in the field on vessels together with the OEMs Drive technical discussions with OEMs, Design Offices and Classification Societies Reference for Sales Engineering tools and support software Provide support and advice on hull design, installations and continuously develop the importer’s competence in this field Be the department interface with Regional and Global Sales Engineering departments Educate importer staff in available tools and methods that will add value to our products and improve the installation quality Follow-up on that OEM engineering take corrective actions on your design remarks and test reports
