Responsibilities Brasfield & Gorrie has exciting opportunities in multiple locations for recent graduates interested in full-time employment in the construction industry as an Assistant Field Manager. Responsibilities and Essential Duties include the following (other duties may be assigned): Assists Superintendent and/or Assistant Superintendent in administrative, compliance, procurement, building, and reporting responsibilities, as assigned Reviews and interprets shop drawings Reviews submittals and expedites materials Monitors production rates and schedules Supervises subcontractors and monitors work performance, progress, and productivity Supports and/or supervises work crews from excavation through punch list Follows company policies and procedures and assists with OSHA compliance and on-site safety enforcement Assists with reporting obligations Education - Skills - Knowledge - Qualifications & Experience Must be an upcoming or recent graduate of an accredited college or university, pursuing a degree in construction, engineering, or related field Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Building Science, Construction Management, or a related field preferred. Alternatively, a satisfactory combination of relevant military training and/or experience in construction-related fields will be considered. Ability to multitask Must be able to work in either Charlotte, NC or Winston- Salem, NC Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Superior organizational skills The above description covers the principal duties and responsibilities of the job.
