  • Physicians Surgical Hospitals includes two surgical centers - Panhandle Surgical Hospital and Quail Creek Surgical Hospital- and one physical therapy center - Quail Creek Physical Therapy - and a state-of-the-art diagnostic imaging center, Advanced Imaging Center of Amarillo.

Responsibilities

  • The Anesthesia Technician supports anesthesia providers in preparing and maintaining anesthesia equipment and supplies for procedures.
  • This includes setup, operation, cleaning, and troubleshooting of equipment, as well as assisting during induction and recovery phases.
  • This role ensures readiness of equipment and supplies to maintain a safe and efficient surgical environment.

Qualifications

Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent. •

BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.

Preferred Job Requirements

Certified Anesthesia Technician (Cer.A.T. or Cer.A.T.T.).

Completion of the Anesthesia Technician training program.

One year of experience in a healthcare or surgical setting.
