GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES

In this challenging role, you will be supporting the ERC-Early College department at Greenville Technical College. Duties may include any or all of the following. The Program Coordinator manages, coordinates and provides direct oversight of concurrent enrollment with K-12 partners. Responsibilities include course scheduling, coordinating enrollment activities to include registration & enrollment which includes home school, private school, and virtual students. Manage, coordinate, and plan concurrent enrollment courses with K12 partners; approximately 90 high school course sections. Coordinates class schedules with charter high schools and Greenville County schools. In collaboration with the Dual Enrollment Manager provide support for 2800+ students in the enrollment process for Early College. Develop and maintain a working knowledge of college programs and acceptance procedures. Provide support in the application, testing, and registration stages in the enrollment process to HS students. Assist with the development, implementation, and coordination of registration activities for home school, private school, and virtual students to include enrollment and recruitment. Assist with building and maintaining relationships with all Greenville County K-12 program personnel (high school counselors) to include public and private high schools, charter schools, career centers, and home school associations. Assist with marketing, social media, and visibility of the program among various platforms. Serves as the main Point of Contact for stakeholders including GTC department heads and POC at high schools regarding concurrent scheduling needs. Collaborates with Early College scheduler to ensure courses are built accurately and made active in a timely manner. Perform other duties as required or assigned. Under direction and supervision of the Assistant Director of Early College, this employee must be able to work independently with minimal supervision. Professionalism and discretion in decision making is required. Employee will be expected to travel as needed to effectively interface and work with programs with k-12 students in and around the Greenville County area. The employee must be able to lift, transport, move, and set up display and promotional materials. Overnight travel would be rare except periodic professional development meetings/opportunities.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor's degree and experience in student services programs.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Master's Degree plus five (5) years of relevant experience, Higher Education and K-12 experience. Experience with K-12 student engagement. Knowledge of dual enrollment. Strong organizational skills. Strong written, verbal and persuasive communication skills. Exceptional customer focus skills. Ability to travel to local recruiting functions. Ability to present a professional image and to work flexibly and with self-motivation independently and with constituents in team situations. Under direction and supervision of the Assistant Director of Early College, this employee must be able to work independently with minimal supervision. Professionalism and discretion in decision making is required.
