JOB SUMMARY

Our People Compliance and Labor Relations is mainly responsible in providing timely advisory and positive resolution on labor law related matters, employee discipline and all other compliance requirements for both government mandated and company-initiated requirements (ASW and SM) to maintain positive working environment.

JOB ROLES

  • Oversee the day-to-day overall People Compliance and Labor Relations by providing leadership and strategic management for Business Unit
  • Plan, develop, implement, monitor, and evaluate people compliance strategies, and regularly monitor, review and maintain compliance with local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices
  • Analyze and evaluate Incident Violation Report (major cases), investigation report, and document Notice of Decision and ensure due process of the implementation of discipline management in accordance with Philippine labor laws and company policies and guidelines
  • Support the company’s internal and external counsels to various DOLE offices to facilitate resolution of cases, and prepare and comply with reporting requirements
  • Analyze and evaluate minor cases and provide guidance to line managers, and manage AWOL cases in accordance with the Watsons Code of Conduct
  • Organize and perform conduct rating for probationary employees and all other functions related to HATCH and confirm employees are kept updated as well as informed on the latest policies and guidelines
  • Develop and improve People-related policies, procedures, and practices, and ensure consistent updates on local labor laws and company standards in the Employee Handbook
  • Perform other related tasks that may be assigned from time-to-time
