We are looking for an experienced and entrepreneurial Country Manager to lead our operations in Côte d'Ivoire. This is a strategic leadership role with full responsibility for the country's business performance, including commercial growth, operational excellence, financial management, SHEQ compliance, and people leadership.
Your Challenge
As Country Manager, you will
- Define and execute the country strategy in line with Regional and Group objectives.
- Drive sustainable business growth and profitability.
- Develop strong relationships with clients, partners, authorities, and key stakeholders.
- Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing management team.
- Ensure safe, efficient, and profitable execution of operations.
- Monitor business performance and implement corrective actions where required.
- Oversee budgeting, forecasting, resource allocation, and financial planning.
- Champion Sarens' commitment to Safety, Health, Environment, and Quality.
- Identify strategic project opportunities and support the successful acquisition of major contracts.
- Promote continuous improvement and operational excellence across the organisation.
What Makes You Successful
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Engineering, Operations Management, Commerce, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 10 years' experience in senior management roles.
- Strong commercial and financial acumen with proven P&L responsibility.
- Experience within heavy lifting, construction, mining, engineering, logistics, energy, oil & gas, or related industries.
- Demonstrated success in business development and stakeholder management.
- Strong leadership, communication, and decision-making skills.
- Experience working within Africa is highly advantageous.
- Fluency in English and French is preferred.
