Country Manager

We are looking for an experienced and entrepreneurial Country Manager to lead our operations in Côte d'Ivoire. This is a strategic leadership role with full responsibility for the country's business performance, including commercial growth, operational excellence, financial management, SHEQ compliance, and people leadership.

Your Challenge

As Country Manager, you will

• Define and execute the country strategy in line with Regional and Group objectives.
• Drive sustainable business growth and profitability.
• Develop strong relationships with clients, partners, authorities, and key stakeholders.
• Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing management team.
• Ensure safe, efficient, and profitable execution of operations.
• Monitor business performance and implement corrective actions where required.
• Oversee budgeting, forecasting, resource allocation, and financial planning.
• Champion Sarens' commitment to Safety, Health, Environment, and Quality.
• Identify strategic project opportunities and support the successful acquisition of major contracts.
• Promote continuous improvement and operational excellence across the organisation.

What Makes You Successful

• Bachelor's Degree in Business, Engineering, Operations Management, Commerce, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 10 years' experience in senior management roles.
• Strong commercial and financial acumen with proven P&L responsibility.
• Experience within heavy lifting, construction, mining, engineering, logistics, energy, oil & gas, or related industries.
• Demonstrated success in business development and stakeholder management.
• Strong leadership, communication, and decision-making skills.
• Experience working within Africa is highly advantageous.
• Fluency in English and French is preferred.
