The Locksmith Foreman directly supervises the locksmith role and assigns work orders and schedules. Procures hardware that meets building standards.

Minimum Qualifications Required

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Current licensure as a Locksmith by the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation (IDFPR). • Four (4) years (48 months) of work experience in the repair and maintenance of locks, door checks, and related hardware and in the making and duplication of keys, including apprenticeship and/or vocational training.
• Three (3) years (36 months) of work experience equivalent to the Locksmith Sub-Foreman level of this series.
