Speech Therapist (Brain Injury & Neuro Program)

WellTech Partners is working with a neuro program that is seeking an experienced Neuro Speech Therapist to join their clinical team. This role is ideal for a speech therapist with a strong background in adult neuro populations , especially those recovering from Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) and stroke .

This is a fully on-site position where you will work closely with our team Psychologist, collaborating to deliver comprehensive cognitive-communication and rehabilitative care.

• *Fridays are designated non-clinical days** , reserved for charting, administrative duties, team collaboration, and planning.

Location: Sacramento, CA

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM (No weekends, holidays, or on-call)

Key Responsibilities

Evaluate and treat adult patients with TBI, stroke , and other neurological conditions

Develop individualized treatment plans focused on cognition, speech, language, and functional communication

Collaborate closely with the team Psychologist and interdisciplinary providers to ensure coordinated patient care

Provide ongoing patient and family education to support long-term recovery

Complete timely charting, documentation, and care-coordination tasks (primarily on Fridays)

Participate in team meetings and case reviews to support exceptional patient outcomes

Requirements

Must hold the Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)

Active California Speech-Language Pathology license (or ability to obtain prior to start)

Masters Degree in Speech-Language Pathology

Experience working with adult neuro populations (TBI, stroke, cognitive impairment required)

Strong clinical foundation in neuro rehabilitation and cognitive-linguistic therapy

Ability to work fully on-site MondayFriday

Comfortable working in a structured, collaborative, multidisciplinary setting

No pediatrics in this role
