Role Overview
The Sales Manager is responsible for driving membership growth, increasing revenue, and building strong relationships with current and potential clients. The role focuses on lead generation, conversion, retention, and team coordination to ensure sustainable business growth.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute sales strategies to increase memberships and packages
Generate and follow up on leads through walk-ins, referrals, social media, and campaigns
Manage membership sales, renewals, and upselling opportunities
Train and support front desk staff on sales techniques and customer engagement
Monitor daily, weekly, and monthly sales performance and targets
Prepare sales reports and provide feedback to management
Build partnerships with nearby businesses, schools, and communities
Handle corporate and group membership deals when applicable
Support marketing promotions and special offers
Ensure high customer satisfaction and retention
Requirements
Proven experience in sales, preferably in fitness, wellness, or hospitality
Fluent in English
Strong communication, negotiation, and closing skills
Target-driven and results-oriented mindset
Ability to motivate and lead a small team
Good understanding of customer relationship management
Basic reporting and computer skills
