Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced SQL Database Administrator to manage, optimize, and secure SQL Server environments across production, development, and staging systems. The role involves ensuring high availability, performance tuning, and supporting mission-critical banking applications.

Key Responsibilities

Install, configure, and maintain SQL Server in on-premises and cloud environments (Azure/AWS).

Optimize database performance, indexing, and query tuning.

Implement High Availability (HA) and Disaster Recovery (DR) strategies.

Manage database backups, recovery, and security protocols.

Oversee deployments, upgrades, migrations, and patching activities.

Monitor system health and troubleshoot database issues.

Support developers with stored procedures and schema design.

Ensure compliance with security and data governance standards.

Qualifications

5+ years of experience as a SQL Database Administrator.

Strong expertise in SQL Server, HA/DR solutions, and performance tuning.

Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (Azure/AWS).

Knowledge of backup, recovery, and security strategies.

Experience in the banking or financial domain is a plus.
