About Your Company

King Deux is partnering with a growing Asia based GP with an unique Private Credit Strategy. We are seeking a high-caliber, entrepreneurial Vice President of Investor Relations & Fundraising to join our growing investment management firm as a foundational member of the team. This is a strategic role designed for a professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is eager to shape the capital-raising trajectory of a fund specializing in private credit and special situations within the US and Asia.

You will lead the charge in expanding the fund’s global footprint, leveraging a deep network of sophisticated allocators to fuel the fund’s next phase of growth.

About your role

Capital Raising & Business Development

  • Fundraising Execution: Lead end-to-end fundraising cycles for private credit and special situations vehicles, focusing on emerging tech opportunities.

Network Monetization: Directly manage and expand relationships with Asia-based family offices, private banks, and global institutional allocators (Sovereign Wealth Funds, Endowments, and Pensions).

Market Intelligence: Monitor global allocators' sentiment toward private credit and the tech sector to refine the fund’s "go-to-market" strategy.

Strategic Investor Relations

Stakeholder Management: Act as the primary point of contact for existing LPs, providing high-touch reporting and transparency regarding fund performance and special situation workouts.

Product Development: Partner with the investment team to bridge the gap between market demand and fund strategy, providing input on new fund structures and co-investment opportunities.

Strategic Positioning: Craft the overarching narrative of the fund, articulating complex credit strategies and the nuances of the US-Asia tech bridge to sophisticated investors.

Marketing & Content Leadership

Collateral Oversight: Supervise the creation of institutional-grade PPMs, pitch decks, and quarterly letters.

Due Diligence: Lead the response process for RFPs and operational due diligence (ODD) requests from institutional prospects.

What you will need to succeed

Experience: Minimum of 8 years of dedicated experience within a GP-level Investor Relations or Fundraising team.

Asset Class Expertise: Proven track record in Private Credit or Private Equity , with a sophisticated understanding of special situations and the Emerging Technology landscape.

Proven Network: A demonstrable and active book of contacts among Asia family offices, private banks, and Tier-1 institutional allocators .

Strategic Mindset: Someone who views IR not just as sales, but as a strategic function; you are looking to be an "early member" who influences the fund’s DNA.

Cross-Border Fluency: Deep familiarity with the regulatory and cultural nuances of navigating both US and Asian capital markets.
