Position Summary
Our client is searching for an exceptional Product Manager to join the growing FinTech business. In this role, you'll be the driving force behind the product strategy and execution, leading a cross-functional tribe to deliver innovative solutions that delight customers and propel business growth. You'll leverage a blend of customer obsession, data-driven decision-making, and agile methodologies to bring winning products to market.
Job Description
- Own the Product Vision & Roadmap: Define the product vision, roadmap, and backlog, ensuring alignment with customer needs and business objectives
- Champion Customer Centricity: Conduct user research, analyze user data (qualitative & quantitative), and translate insights into actionable product strategies
- Deliver Value, Usability, Feasibility & Viability: Lead the tribe in building products that are valuable (solves customer problems), usable (intuitive user experience), feasible (technical capabilities), and viable (aligned with business goals)
- Master of Product Discovery & Delivery: Employ proven product discovery methods to uncover opportunities and validate solutions. Champion agile methodologies for efficient product delivery
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Lead and collaborate effectively within a cross-functional tribe consisting of a delivery manager, tech lead, product designer, and development squad
- Data-Driven Decision-Making: Leverage data insights (leading & lagging indicators) to measure product success and inform future product iterations
- Fast Learner: Demonstrate a strong desire to learn the intricacies of the FinTech domain and collaborate effectively with the technical development squad
- Stakeholder Management: Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, effectively communicating product vision, strategy, and progress
Requirements
- Minimum 4 years of experience in product management
- Proven track record of shipping successful products in a fast-paced environment
- Strong understanding of user-centred design principles and user research methodologies
- Experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban etc.) and cross-functional team collaboration
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to translate data insights into actionable strategies
- Experience in utilizing leading and lagging indicators to measure product success
- Strong communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills
- Passion for the FinTech industry and a desire to learn quickly
- Proven ability to proactively identify, communicate, and collaborate with a wide range of stakeholders (e.g., executives, commercial, marketing, customer support, engineering)
Bonus Points
- Experience in the mobile wallet or FinTech space
- Experience working in a cross-functional tribe setting
- Experience with specific product discovery or delivery tools (e.g., user interview techniques, user journey mapping, A/B testing)
