Weekend Night Shift – Thursday, Friday, Saturday | 6:00 PM–6:30 AM

Starting Pay: $30.00 per hour plus a $1.50 shift differential .

Team members are eligible for a $1.00 increase after 6 months, with additional annual increases up to a top rate of $34.00 per hour within 3 years

About Your Role

As a Maintenance Technician II at our Dollar Tree Distribution Center, you’ll support the reliability and performance of critical material handling and building systems. You’ll play a key role in minimizing equipment downtime by performing preventive maintenance, troubleshooting complex electrical and control systems, and ensuring all equipment operates safely and efficiently. Your day-to- day job duties include, but are not limited to, the following:

Maintenance & Troubleshooting

Perform preventive maintenance and emergency repairs on conveyors, material handling equipment, lift trucks, dock equipment, pneumatic, hydraulic, electrical, and electronic systems

Troubleshoot and repair complex electrical and electronic issues involving PLCs, motor drives (Servo and VFD), networks, and external I/O devices

Diagnose electrical problems using technical drawings such as blueprints and electronic/mechanical schematics

Utilize diagnostic tools including multi-meters, laptops, and other testing equipment

Operational Support & Safety

Follow established safety procedures and guidelines to ensure personal safety and the safety of all Distribution Center associates

Maintain organized work areas and promote a safe working environment within the Maintenance department

Operate material handling equipment, battery equipment, moving machinery, and other powered equipment as required

Ensure workmanship meets the highest quality standards

Collaboration & Documentation

Assist and support other maintenance technicians with repairs and equipment maintenance

Communicate clearly with associates, suppliers, and leadership to minimize equipment downtime

Complete work orders, logs, records, and other written or computer-based documentation in accordance with established procedures

Develop and expand knowledge of Distribution Center systems and equipment

Continuous Improvement

Initiate and implement new procedures or system improvements to maximize equipment efficiency and uptime

Contribute ideas and designs to improve existing equipment and maintenance processes

Your Required Skills and Experience

Coursework or certification in electronic technology plus 2 years of industrial maintenance experience specializing in electronic technology OR 3 years of industrial maintenance experience specializing in electronic technology

Hands-on experience troubleshooting and repairing automated equipment

PLC/PC program knowledge with troubleshooting experience

Industrial electrical experience, including 480V 3-phase, 110 VAC, and 24 VDC systems

Advanced troubleshooting skills with PCs and industrial control devices and networks

Ability to clearly communicate technical issues to business leadership

Willingness to work shift schedules, overtime, weekends, and/or holidays as needed

Customer service–oriented mindset and strong teamwork skills

Preferred Requirements

Associate’s Degree in electronic technology plus 2 years of industrial maintenance experience specializing in electronic technology
