As a Senior Software Engineer , you will be working in a hands-on development role , designing and delivering secure, cloud-native applications and libraries that drive cross-cutting capabilities.

What you'll be doing

• Design, develop, and maintain cloud-based applications primarily in Java
• Review and validate solutions for alignment with internal engineering and security standards
• Champion high standards in software quality, security, and maintainability
• Implement comprehensive automated testing (unit, integration, regression) for all changes
• Collaborate openly, solve complex problems, and improve developer productivity
• Contribute to efficiency improvements and enhance the developer experience
• Support knowledge sharing and mentor less experienced engineers

Who we're looking for

• Strong software engineering fundamentals with a polyglot mindset
• Hands-on development experience with Java (Spring/Spring Boot preferred)
• Knowledge of functional, asynchronous, and non-blocking programming models
• Familiarity with modern concurrency models and reactive programming approaches
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines , version control, and best coding practices
• Sound understanding of secure engineering practices
• Excellent communication skills with business-level English
• Experience in cloud environments (AWS/Azure/GCP) and working with distributed systems
• Exposure to security-focused tools and experience securing high-volume APIs
• Familiarity with API security concepts : authentication, authorization, and threat mitigation
• Strong background in test architecture , including end-to-end and performance testing
• Understanding of performance optimization , profiling, and automated testing frameworks
