Job Description

This role supports the strategic development of Mars’ Responsible Media strategy and deployment working in partnership with senior media leaders to build a responsible, inclusive and sustainable media operation that supports our commitments,
drives meaningful and measurable impact, and builds our reputation externally. This includes working with JBP partners, including driving innovation through T&L’s and supporting the responsible use of AI.
The role also leads Inclusive and Sustainable Marketing deployment and governance, ensuring our marketing communications represent people positively and from all walks of life, are accessible to people with disabilities, and our practices support a
healthy planet.
Requirements
- 5 years plus of marketing experience Experienced marketer with cross segment, multiple market experience ideally at a local, regional and global level. •
Is a technical expert in digital media and brand safety, brand strategy and campaign development, in order to speak with authority.
Highly experienced working in and leading projects in matrixed organizations (across segments and functions).
Track record of working effectively across global, regional and local levels, with strong intercultural skills.
Confident in working with senior stakeholders both internally and externally, able to act as trusted advisor.
A history of developing strong networks and relationships, able to inspire others and help others build capabilities
Ability to set and achieve goals and manage multiple projects and priorities.
Excellent communication and presentation skills (oral and written).
Key Responsibilities include
Develop and deploy Mars’ responsible media strategy across all segment media teams and through partnerships with JBP's and agency partners.
Lead the Brand Safety Steer Co, evolving it to include our inclusive and sustainable media strategy and the responsible use of gen AI, and drive deployment of our Responsible Media approach.
Deliver the commitments of inclusive and sustainable marketing with Segment marketing teams, define guidelines and comms materials to support implementation and progress.
Lead the work on improving digital accessibility and representation of people with disabilities in our marketing.
Lead a program to measure carbon emissions of our marketing (media and production) and drive the adoption of sustainable behaviors across marketing communications.

The base pay range for this position at commencement of employment is between the range listed below, however, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including but not limited to job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position will include variable pay, medical and dental benefits, participation in 401k plan, and paid time off benefits. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an applicant receives an offer of employment.
The pay range shown is applicable to all US locations listed within the job posting:USD 134,400.00 - USD 184,800.00
