A global automotive parts manufacturer specializing in drivetrain and chassis components, supplying high-quality products to OEMs and aftermarket customers worldwide. The company focuses on precision engineering, innovation, and efficient manufacturing to support the automotive industry.

Job Descriptions

  • Liaise with Malaysian government departments at all levels, establish and maintain stable government-enterprise communication channels to ensure smooth information flow.
  • Oversee all government approval procedures for the factory and cooperative suppliers (Malaysia plant setup), ensure compliant and efficient implementation while mitigating related risks.
  • Monitor changes in Malaysian policies and regulations, interpret policy directions, and provide professional advice for the development of the company and suppliers.
  • Leverage government relations resources to expand government-enterprise cooperation, assist the company and suppliers in securing policy support and favorable development conditions.
  • Oversee factory safety and environmental (EHS) management, coordinate internal and external collaboration to ensure orderly daily operations.
  • Handle government-related emergencies for the factory and suppliers, maintain a good corporate image, and complete special tasks assigned by superiors.

Job Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in government affairs, including at least 3 years of local government-enterprise liaison experience in Malaysia; manufacturing industry experience preferred.
  • Extensive government relations resources in Malaysia, skilled in government-enterprise communication and negotiation, able to efficiently drive government affairs implementation.
  • Fluent in Chinese (listening, speaking, reading, writing) as a working language; proficiency in English or Malay preferred; strong policy insight and overall coordination capabilities.
  • Able to be based in Malaysia long-term, strong sense of responsibility, able to independently handle complex government-enterprise liaison and comprehensive management affairs.

Location: Senai, Johor

Working Hours: Mon - Fri (8:30AM - 5:30PM)

Salary Range: RM10k - 18k (negotiable)
