About The Role
We're looking for a Technical Lead who can operate across web, mobile, and AI-enabled solutions at Trideca. You'll lead delivery for client engagements, guide technical decisions, supporting the selection of new engineers and mentor engineers across the stack.
You'll also work closely with Trideca's Senior Leadership Team to shape our AI capability and offering, not from the sidelines, but as a real part of the job. Test new AI tools, apply them to live processes, and help define what "AI-first" actually means for Trideca in practice. It's a genuine seat at the table, helping set the direction for how we use AI across every engagement we deliver.
This is a hands-on role: you'll write code, review architecture, and shape how we build.
What You'll Do
- Lead technical delivery across web and mobile (native or cross-platform) project
- Architect solutions that scale, integrate cleanly, and hold up in production
- Identify and implement practical AI use cases within client builds
- Set technical direction for a squad and review code, design, and approach
- Work directly with clients to translate business needs into technical solutions
- Mentor engineers and raise the technical bar across the team
- Balance hands-on build work with technical leadership
What You'll Bring
- 8+ years building web and mobile applications in production environments
- Strong front-end experience (React) and familiarity with mobile frameworks
- Backend and API design experience across modern stacks
- Hands-on experience with AI tools in a delivery context, ideally including Claude Cowork or similar platforms
- An AI-first attitude. You reach for AI to solve problems before defaulting to manual effort
- Genuine curiosity about AI. You test new tools, follow developments, and bring ideas back to the team
- A habit of sharing what you learn. You document, demo, and upskill others rather than keeping knowledge to yourself
- Experience leading technical decisions on client-facing or commercial projects
- Comfort working directly with clients, not just internal teams
- Strong communication skills. You can explain technical trade-offs to non-technical stakeholders
Nice to Have
- Experience with Microsoft Azure or AWS
- Exposure to AEM or enterprise content platforms
- Experience in financial services, healthcare, or utilities sectors
