We're looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Account Executive to support our finance operations and ensure the smooth execution of day-to-day financial and administrative processes. If you have strong organizational skills, enjoy working with numbers, and take pride in accuracy and efficiency, we'd love to have you on our team.

This is what your job scope will be...

  • Assist in handling the full set of accounts, including Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), General Ledger (GL), and bank reconciliations.
  • Prepare and post accounting entries accurately in accordance with double-entry accounting principles.
  • Perform monthly account reconciliations and assist with month-end and year-end closing.
  • Maintain accurate accounting records and supporting documentation.
  • Prepare journal entries, accruals, prepayments, and other accounting adjustments.
  • Assist in preparing financial reports and schedules.
  • Ensure transactions are recorded accurately and in compliance with company policies and accounting standards.
  • Liaise with internal departments, auditors, tax agents, bankers, and other external parties when required.
  • Support the compilation and aggregation of financial data from various business units or subsidiaries for magement reporting.
  • Assist in analyzing monthly actual financial results against budgets or forecasts to help identify key business drivers and variances.
  • Support the preparation of management reporting decks and KPI dashboards for leadership reviews.
  • Support other ad-hoc finance, accounting, and strategic assignments as assigned.
  • Diploma in Accounting, Finance, or a related field or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field..
  • Candidates with 1–2 years of relevant accounting or finance experience are encouraged to apply.
  • Knowledge of the full set of accounts, including Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), General Ledger (GL), and bank reconciliations.
  • Understanding of basic accounting standards and financial reporting principles.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Microsoft Excel; experience with Xero is an added advantage.
  • Experience supporting audit activities, tax coordination, and external financial reporting.
  • Able to work independently in a finance environment and manage deadline-driven month-end work.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel is essential for analysis work.
  • Exposure to or experience with data analysis/visualization tools is optional but an added advantage.
  • Eligible to work in Malaysia.
