About the Client A U.S.-based, multi-entity hospitality and nightlife group operating venues in major metropolitan markets is preparing for upcoming U.S. tax filings. The finance function is centralizing historical accounting across several entities and standardizing books in QuickBooks. The team values accuracy, speed, and strong GAAP fundamentals while working in a fully remote environment.

Why does this role exist? The client needs a GL-focused specialist to perform historical accounting cleanup (2021–present) across multiple entities to ensure books are accurate, properly structured, and U.S. tax-ready. This role exists to diagnose and correct legacy accounting issues, reconcile accounts, and apply correct U.S. GAAP treatment so financial statements can be reliably used for tax preparation. The work is deep, hands-on accounting—not operational finance—and demands exceptional attention to detail and fluency in how entries flow through the ledger.
