This position will be primarily responsible for administration of Oracle, SQL and HANA databases. This job is part of the Enterprise Systems and Applications Operations team and includes day to day management of databases. Responsible for currency and patching as well. This person is also responsible in making improvements to the existing systems to operate them in an optimized manner and or to improve the reliability and availability. Also, responsible for participating in Disaster Recovery exercises in regular basis

Install, configure and administer databases. Troubleshoot performance issues. Accountable for database roadmaps w.r.t Enterprise Applications (must be up to date with SAP support matrix). Backup and Recover databases. Create copies of non-prod systems using prod systems (using backup and/or other methods) Facilitate moving of work-loads to/from on-prem cloud to off-prem cloud. Participate in calls with other members to address and troubleshoot application and or infrastructure related issues.

The ability to partner with rest of IT teams, suppliers, business customers, on cross-functional projects, and process improvements. The ability to translate business issues / requirements and objectives into technical solutions. Strong knowledge of IT business processes and practices. Travel Approximately 15%

• Manage Cisco UCS & Dell Chassis converged infra environment
• Manage & support the Window File & Print serving environment
• Lead Design Architecture
• Developing standards

Must Have

A bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering or Business-Related is related discipline

Minimum of 15+ years of Operating Systems and or Hypervisor administration experience required

14 + years of Oracle/SQL/HANA Database Experience is a must.

14 + years Linux/Windows OS experience is a must.

14 + years experience with SAP is a must.

14 + years experience with cloning, high availability, and disaster recovery configurations is a must.

14 + years experience with SAP system copy post processing is a must.
