We are currently seeking a motivated and passionate individual to join our team as a Snr Solutions Advisor. In this role, you willlead and be responsible for the preparation of Technical Solutions at the Solution Design Centre of HAB and deliver premier solutions to meet customer expectations, whilst improving the ambitious position of HAB to meet growth objectives. You will drive, and sustain success through Continuous Improvement.

What Will You Be Doing Every Single Day?

• Be accountable and responsible for the design of Airfield Lighting and VDGS Systems
• Overall responsibility for developing complete end to end solutions
• Responsible for delivering design output (BoQs, Drawings, Solution description etc) for all Airports Projects within Honeywell Global Airports Business
• Lead and support the SDC design team by providing and establishing Engineering Know How throughout the team.
• Lead the team of Designers and Draughtsman and ensure accuracy in the delivery of solutions
• Provide periodical training to designers, estimators and other specialists
• You will maintain and update of all relevant standards including but not limited to ICAO, FAA, CAP168, CAR PART IX, UFC
• Develop layouts, conceptual drawings, standard drawings, construction drawings for AGL activities. E.g. Design, Approach, PAPI, TGS plus lighting layouts for the differing CAT requirements.
• Responsible for the competency, accuracy and quality of the designs and solutions.
• Identify and expertly choose various combinations of products and provide value engineering solutions.
• Develop a database of known AFL trained Designers worldwide and develop relationships
• Develop close relationships with the Clients, Client Representatives and Design Consultants
• Provide technical feedback to the Sales, Design and Estimating teams alongside the review of outgoing bids and estimations related to Airport Systems
• Ensure and establish the right tools in order to implement standardization and periodically update templates and tools to be used by Designers, Estimators
• Work in partnership with sales professional to develop an effective counter strategy which will be embodied in the solution development
• Responsible for professional solution development with proper and clear structure articulating design basis, assumptions, concept and design drawings and other valuable contents.
• Prepare compelling presentations and lead the technical discussion with Customers, Consultants

What Skills and Experience Will You Have?

• BSC Engineering
• Extensive experience in the role of Design or Solution Advisor or a similar role
• Proven experience in on-site execution of Airfield Lighting system projects in a Lead role
• Hands on experience of working on Airports with expertise on principles and components of Airfield Lighting Systems.
• Excellent understanding of AFL Projects and product applications.
• Excellent knowledge of the visual aids including the airfield ground lighting (AGL) systems, in accordance with Standards and Recommendations in ICAO, Annex 14, Aerodrome Design and Operations, and with ICAO´s Aerodrome Design Manual, Part 4: Visual Aids, and Part 5: Electrical installations and Civil Aviation Requirement (CAR), and other related International standards and regulations
• Demonstrated ability to lead a diverse team and a solid track record of delivering simple to large scale projects
• Familiar with International standards such as ICAO, FAA, CAP168, CAR PART IX, MOS 139, UFC
• Good Working Knowledge on AutoCAD, Microsoft Office (Specially in Excel, Word, Powerpoint), Visio.
