Job Title: Facility Maintenance Manager

Location: Huntingdon, PA

Schedule: Monday-Friday

Job Summary

D.C. Goodman & Sons is a commercial mechanical contractor based at 326 Penn St, with our own shop, warehouse, and fabrication space. We're hiring a Facility Maintenance Manager to oversee the upkeep of our own operational facility and fleet — not client job sites. This is a management-track role for someone with broad, hands-on facilities experience who's ready to lead maintenance operations and supervise staff.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee upkeep of the shop, warehouse, and building systems (HVAC, plumbing, electrical, structural)
  • Manage preventive maintenance schedules for facility equipment and the company vehicle/service fleet
  • Perform or supervise repairs, directing junior maintenance staff as needed
  • Manage vendor relationships (waste removal, landscaping, pest control, etc.)
  • Ensure OSHA compliance and safe working conditions for trades staff
  • Track inventory of tools, parts, and consumables
  • Budget for facility repairs, capital equipment, and maintenance contracts
  • Respond to emergency facility issues (outages, HVAC failures, leaks)
  • Oversee building security, alarms, and access systems

Qualifications

Required

  • 5-8+ years hands-on facility/trades experience, including 2-3 years in a lead or supervisory role
  • Broad working knowledge across HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and general building systems
  • OSHA 30 certification
  • Valid driver's license

Preferred

  • Fleet/vehicle maintenance scheduling experience
  • Inventory/parts management experience
  • EPA Section 608 Certification (if handling refrigerant directly)
