Designation: Chief Business Officer (CBO) Location: Chennai / Bengaluru The Mandate: Own and accelerate our client’s next phase of growth by building a predictable, scalable revenue engine—combining strong sales execution with a structured marketing backbone. What You Will Drive: End-to-end revenue ownership across services, industries, and geographies Build and scale a high-calibre B2B sales organisation (new logo + key account growth) Craft and execute focused go-to-market strategies by vertical and offering Establish a consistent demand generation engine (digital, outbound, partnerships) Institutionalise sales processes, pipeline discipline, and performance metrics Partner closely with delivery to align market needs with solution offerings Who This Role Is For: 12–15 years of experience scaling a B2B MSME Hands-on leader—equally comfortable in the field, with clients, and in the boardroom Strong grasp of both sales execution and marketing levers High ownership, high intensity, and a bias for action What You Should Have Delivered: Scaled revenues meaningfully (e.g., 2–3x growth or built a ₹50–100 Cr+ business line) Built and led a sales team from the ground up, with clear structure and accountability Consistently delivered new client acquisition in a B2B environment Established a functioning demand generation engine (not just campaigns, but measurable pipeline) Created predictable sales pipelines with strong conversion metrics Driven growth across multiple industry verticals or service lines Success in This Role: Predictable, repeatable revenue growth A strong, self-sustaining sales engine Visible market presence backed by a steady pipeline of qualified opportunities
