Job description

Purpose of role

We are seeking an experienced Trust Analyst to join our Private Wealth and Corporate team. 

The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the administration and maintenance of trust and corporate structures while ensuring compliance with fiduciary, AML/CFT, KYC, and regulatory requirements. The role requires a strong understanding of trust administration, customer due diligence, and operational processes within a trust, corporate services, or financial services environment. 

This position is ideally suited to a candidate with experience in trust administration, private wealth, fiduciary services, or a regulated professional services environment. 

Main Responsibilities 

  • Support the administration of trust, corporate and private wealth structures in line with legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Complete and maintain CDD/KYC checks for trust and corporate clients.
  • Review client documentation to ensure accuracy, compliance and completeness.
  • Identify and verify beneficial owners and other key parties.
  • Conduct sanctions, PEP and adverse media screening.
  • Assist with ongoing client monitoring and periodic reviews.
  • Escalate compliance concerns and high-risk matters as required.
  • Maintain accurate trust and corporate records.
  • Contribute to process improvements and operational efficiency initiatives.

Knowledge, Skills and Experience 

  • Experience within trust, fiduciary, corporate services, banking or regulated financial services.
  • Knowledge of trust administration, AML/CFT, KYC/CDD and client due diligence requirements.
  • Experience reviewing trust and corporate documentation and beneficial ownership structures.
  • Strong analytical, organisational and communication skills with excellent attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities, work independently and meet deadlines.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and relevant systems.
  • Relevant professional qualification (or working towards) such as STEP, CGI/ICSA, ICA, ACCA, CPA or equivalent is advantageous.
