As a Security Officer ID Screening in Bay Minette, AL , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. Join Allied Universal at a dynamic manufacturing and industrial location, where you will monitor entry points, verify credentials, and support access control procedures that help to deter security-related incidents. You may conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence, and deliver exceptional customer service and communication. What You'll Do
- Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors by carrying out access control procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
- Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and permissions, and help to deter unauthorized access to restricted areas, loading zones, and other controlled spaces.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report security-related concerns according to site procedures.
- Maintain visitor, vendor, and delivery records, issue badges or passes as required, and communicate clearly with site personnel regarding access requests and exceptions.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the business, perimeter, parking areas, and production-adjacent spaces, noting unusual activity and/or conditions that may require attention.
Minimum Requirements
- A current guard card and/or license is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
