Position Summary

Financial Analyst who supports commercial team in driving trade spend/deflator effectiveness, sales trending analysis, deliver Area/Region financial reporting, process owner of business profitability information system (BIAP).

  • Develop and maintain financial tools and reporting systems to support the commercial planning and forecasting efforts
  • Lead the customer teams during business planning by providing financial and business analysis; analyze customer plans to ensure financial expectations are achieved
  • Provide decision support to Commercial Teams to help optimize Energizer’s sales and profit growth
  • Manage the Trade Spend funds to optimize ROI and ensure financial objectives are met
  • Provide financial analysis for major proposals affecting the business; e.g. contract renewals, line reviews and competitive pressures

Responsibilities

  • Lead pricing structure process ensures profitability and internal control compliance
  • Weekly sales flash reporting to Modern Market (MM)
  • Communication and data collection for sales & TI estimation on a weekly basis
  • Confirmation for Variance (VAR) overrides
  • Monthly analytics (Analysis for variances of sales, COGS, Advertisement & Promotion (A&P), Overhead (OH))
  • Preparation & analysis for P&L by customer, Product Group (PG), SKU
  • Cost management (follow up with costing team in Singapore)
  • Ad hoc assigned by finance manager and required by commercial team
  • Process owner for Profitability Reporting tool
  • Ensure data accuracy with reconciliation to financial reporting (SAP)
  • Sales trending analysis and working with commercial director/NSM in sales target management
  • Process owner for OH spending analysis
  • Pre & Post Promotional Analysis to evaluate effectiveness of sales program and activities
  • Work closely with Shared Service Center (SSC) to ensure timely and accurate reporting of financial statements
  • Provide tax support and coordination (VAT/Corporate Tax filing)
  • Resolution of Account Payable, T&E issues (CONCUR) with SSC
  • Ensure that legal entity comply with all external (Statues, Law, Fiscal, Local GAAP, US GAAP, SOX) and internal Corporate policies requirements
  • Manage working capital

What we are looking for

  • Bachelor’s Degree is required (Accountancy or Finance; or Accountancy Professional graduate preferred)
  • Minimum of 5+ years relevant working experiences in accounting & finance
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Fluent in English
