Job Overview

Fairview is looking for a Cook at our Burnsville Hospital! This position is 48 hours bi-weekly.

The expected schedule is

Week One:Monday and Friday from 5:30 am - 2:00 pm Week Two: Monday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday from 5:30am - 2:00pm

Prepare food items as assigned using standardized recipes to meet established standards of high quality.

Responsibilities

  • Prepares food products to meet temperature and quality standards.
  • Develops and tests recipes as directed.
  • Completes all documentation related to production
  • Handle and prepare food in safe manner following HACCP standardized operating procedures
  • Follows employee health guidelines to prevent disease transmission.
  • Follows procedures to prevent food contamination.
  • Coordinates and communicates with all internal customers in all service areas.
  • Sanitizes equipment and work area per assigned schedules and designated procedure.
  • Takes responsibility for self and others in work area.
  • Contributes to a safe work environment
  • Demonstrates Commitment to Customers
  • The schedule is every Monday and Friday from 5:30am - 2:00 pm and every every other weekend from 5:30 am - 2:00 pm.
  • 48 hours per pay period

Required Qualifications

  • 1 year Relevant experience
  • Ability to communicate clearly, verbally and in writing, using the English language.
  • Basic math skills.
  • Certified or willing to become certified for food safety.
