About the Role Masters Academy International is seeking an Assistant Athletic Trainer to provide essential clinical care to protect the health, safety, and holistic well-being of all student-athletes. This role manages the full spectrum of sports medicine—including injury prevention, evaluation, treatment, and rehabilitation—while fostering an inclusive, student-centered environment that balances physical health with social-emotional and mental wellness. Collaborating closely with coaches, families, and student well-being teams, the Assistant Athletic Trainer ensures compliance with health protocols, maintains operational efficiency in the training room, and fosters an equitable athletic culture built for peak performance and recovery.
What You Will Do In this role, you will provide comprehensive clinical care by preventing, evaluating, treating, and rehabilitating athletic injuries, while delivering rapid emergency management during practices and home games. You will design individualized recovery plans and foster an inclusive, student-centered environment that balances physical health with vital social-emotional and mental wellness support. Collaborating closely with coaches, families, and student well-being teams, you will serve as a key liaison to communicate recovery milestones and ensure a coordinated approach to athlete care. Additionally, you will assist in the oversight of daily training room operations, maintain meticulous health records, and uphold strict safety protocols to support a safe, equitable, and high-performing athletic culture. Who You Are You are a certified, student-centered athletic trainer who blends clinical expertise with deep empathy. You are a skilled collaborator who communicates effectively with coaches, families, and wellness teams to build trust and alignment. Highly organized and solutions-oriented, you thrive in a dynamic school community, bringing sharp operational efficiency to training room management, compliance, and long-term student recovery. Qualifications • Education : Bachelor’s degree in Athletic Training, Sports Management, or a related field; Master's degree preferred. • Experience : 1-3 years of experience in athletic training, preferably in a high-performance independent school or collegiate setting.
- Credentials : Board of Certification (BOC) certified and current state licensure (or eligibility); CPR/First Aid/AED and BLS certifications required.
- Expertise : Demonstrated success in injury prevention and emergency management.

Compensation and Benefits This is a 10-month role. The salary range for this role is $60,000-$65,000. Benefits for eligible roles include medical, life insurance, a 401(k) savings plan, and more.
