Position Highlights

The James C. Wyant College of Optical Sciences invites applications for the position of Postdoctoral Researcher. The postdoctoral position is available through an AFOSR-funded project, focusing on theoretical investigations at the interface of quantum optics, atomic physics, and many-body physics. The project explores how atomic arrays can modify and control light-matter interactions in novel regimes of cavity QED, collective atom-field interactions and nonequilibrium driven-dissipative systems.

We are a research group working on theoretical quantum optics and open quantum systems, with multiple experimental collaborations. Applicants with demonstrated expertise in theoretical AMO physics, quantum optics, or related areas are encouraged to apply.
