Job description
We are working closely alongside a Local Authority in Powys to assist with the appointment of an Administrator - Commercial Recycling , on a 3-month contract , highly likely to be extended at clients discretion. Please apply with your CV for immediate consideration.
Rate of Pay: £12.71 - £16.44 per hour
Summary
An excellent opportunity for an organised Administrator to provide administrative support to the Waste & Recycling team. The role involves handling customer enquiries, processing documentation, maintaining records, coordinating meetings, and ensuring the efficient delivery of day-to-day administrative services.
Responsibilities
- Provide administrative support including processing correspondence, emails, customer enquiries, and garden waste queries.
- Maintain and update electronic and manual records, databases, and filing systems.
- Coordinate meetings, take accurate minutes, and distribute meeting documentation.
- Process service requests, customer documentation, and statistical information while maintaining accurate records.
- Liaise with internal teams, external organisations, and suppliers, including ordering stationery and equipment.
Qualifications
- GCSEs (or equivalent) including English and Maths.
Essentials
- Previous administrative experience within an office environment.
- Competent in Microsoft Office applications with strong IT and data entry skills.
- Excellent organisational, communication, customer service, and minute-taking skills with strong attention to detail.
- Ability to prioritise workloads, work as part of a team, maintain confidentiality, and travel across the county when required.
