Retail Consultant (Sales in Telcom - City Square Johor Bahru)
Job description
Location: City Square, Johor Bahru Employment Type: 1-Year Contract (Renewable / Convertible to Permanent Staff)
Working Hours
- 9:30 AM – 10:00 PM
- Maximum 45 working hours per week
- Monday – Sunday (Rotational Shifts )
- 6 Working Days per Week
Compensation & Benefits
- Basic Salary: RM 2,150 – RM 2,500 (Based on Experience)

Job Responsibilities
Customer Consultation & Sales
- Advise customers on the best mobile plans, devices, and broadband options for their needs.
- Drive branch revenue by upselling and cross-selling to meet and exceed sales targets.
Customer Service & Escalation Handling
- Deliver excellent customer service to build strong, lasting relationships.
- Resolve customer inquiries, complaints, and service issues professionally and efficiently.
Account Management & Compliance
- Process new account activations, plan renewals, and device upgrades smoothly.
- Ensure all customer documentation and transactions follow company procedures and rules.
Product Knowledge & Promotions
- Stay fully updated on the latest promotions, marketing campaigns, and product launches.
- Use current promotional offers to attract customers and provide accurate information.
Qualifications
- Degree in any field (Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply)
- Diploma holders with a minimum of 2 years' sales & customer service experience (Telecom industry preferred)
Requirements
- Experience in sales, retail or telecom is an advantage
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Good command of English & Bahasa Melayu (Mandarin is a plus)
- Basic Microsoft Office & computer skills
- Able to work shifts, weekends & public holidays
