This Is More Than a Clinic Manager Role
This role is about helping a rural clinic run well, care well, and grow stronger from the inside out.
As Clinic Manager, you will oversee day-to-day clinic operations while supporting quality improvement, regulatory compliance, patient access, workflow efficiency, staff engagement, and excellent patient care.
The ideal candidate understands that strong clinic operations require both people leadership and process leadership. You will help create an environment where providers, clinical staff, front office teams, and patients all feel supported.
What You'll Do
- Lead day-to-day clinic operations.
- Support quality improvement and performance improvement initiatives.
- Help ensure regulatory compliance and alignment with FQHC standards.
- Partner with providers and leadership to improve patient access and clinic flow.
- Support staff scheduling, onboarding, training, coaching, and accountability.
- Monitor workflows and identify opportunities for process improvement.
- Help strengthen patient experience, care coordination, and team communication.
- Collaborate with leadership on clinic goals, staffing needs, and operational priorities.
- Promote a positive, respectful, mission-driven workplace culture.
What You'll Bring
- Experience in clinic operations, healthcare leadership, or ambulatory care management.
- Understanding of quality improvement, compliance, patient access, and workflow optimization.
- Strong people leadership skills with the ability to coach, support, and hold teams accountable.
- Experience in an FQHC, rural health clinic, community health center, or outpatient setting preferred.
- RN license strongly preferred.
- Candidates without an RN license will also be considered with strong clinic operations and leadership experience.
- Knowledge of HRSA, UDS reporting, PCMH, population health, or value-based care is a plus.
- Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
Compensation
Compensation will depend on licensure and experience.
- RN candidate: approximately $95,000 annually
- Non-RN candidate: approximately $80,000 annually
