Site Cost Control Officer

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor project operating costs
• Daily/weekly cost tracking
• Fuel, meals, transport, materials, spare parts, tools,
• consumables Compare actual cost with budget or plan
• Control inventory and materials
• Check stock movement
• Monitor spare parts, tools, lubricants, PPE, consumables
• Coordinate with warehouse/storekeeper
• Prevent overuse, loss, or unnecessary purchase
• Support purchase and payment documents
• Check supporting documents before sending to head office
• Verify quantity, price, delivery note, invoice, and service confirmation
• But not approve payment by himself/herself
• Prepare site cost reports
• Daily/weekly/monthly cost summary
• Cost per ROM ton, cost per finished coal ton, fuel consumption, material consumption
• Report abnormal cost or high consumption to Project Manager
• Coordinate with Finance & Accounting Division
• Submit documents to head office
• Support budget control
• Provide cost data for accounting booking

Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• Minimum 2-3 years of experience in finance and cost control.
• Sound knowledge of cost accounting, budgeting, and financial reporting principles.
• Proficient in accounting software and MS Office Excel, Word.
• Strong numerical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Good command of written and spoken English.
• High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet reporting deadlines.
