Role Overview
Lead the medical team while providing advanced veterinary care for small animals, exotic pets, and birds in a collaborative, well-equipped hospital.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee medical standards and patient care
- Mentor veterinarians and support staff
- Perform wellness exams, diagnostics, surgery, and dentistry
- Treat dogs, cats, exotic pets, and avian patients
- Support hospital operations and enhance the client experience
Qualifications
- DVM degree with a Maryland veterinary license (or eligibility to obtain one)
- Leadership experience or a strong interest in developing leadership skills
- Experience with or interest in exotic and avian medicine
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary: $110,000–$150,000 plus commission opportunities
