Job description

Essential Functions

Requisition

  • Daily goods issues of usage in SAP.
  • Review stock replenishment reports prior to orders being released.
  • SAP/Hana catalog orders.
  • Requisitions for blanket orders and cost center needs.

Receiving

  • Unload and receive incoming material, put stock items away, and notify purchaser of non-stock item of delivery. Use pallet jacks as needed.
  • Prepare paperwork for incoming LI Batch containers.
  • Assist security with routing of delivery trucks.
  • Enter COA's in ERS.
  • Maintain adequate supply of emergency PPE.
  • Complete goods receipt in SAP, filing packing slips when complete

Payables

  • Monitor invoices in OTTStores email checking for freight charges and high surcharges.
  • Verify receipts are complete to reconcile end of the month.
  • Reconcile invoice questions from Accounts Payable.
  • Scan all invoices to Accounts Payable logging invoice number.
  • Weekly reconciliation of procurement match errors.

Miscellaneous

  • Ownership of MRO Vending - pulling materials, maintaining min/max levels, add/update personnel in vending database.
  • Prepare and package outgoing material; domestic, international, and hazmat.
  • Administer and perform cycle counting.
  • Review VMI inventories with suppliers.
  • Work on Storeroom projects, obsolescence, organization, etc.
  • Ownership of Storeroom for cleanliness/5S.
  • Adherence to NSG/Pilkington Standards of Business Conduct and its Values and Principles
  • Other duties as assigned by manager.

Qualifications Required

  • Working Knowledge of Microsoft Office, SAP system
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Basic knowledge of maintenance mechanical and electrical parts
  • Be able to obtain Powered Industrial Truck License (Battery Powered Pallet Jack)
  • Ability to work under minimal supervision
  • Prior Inventory, Receiving, or Storeroom Experience preferred
  • Experience with 3-way match invoice reconciliation

Other Requirements

  • Obtain DOT ground hazmat certification for shipping hazardous materials.
  • Obtain Powered Industrial Truck License (Battery Powered Pallet Jack).
  • While performing the duties of this position, the associate frequently works around moving machines, chemicals, and high temperatures in an industrial environment.
  • The associate occasionally must travel by commercial means or private transport.
  • Candidates must be able to climb stairs, crouch, kneel, and maintain balance in various working environments.
  • The position also requires the ability to lift and carry objects weighing up to 30 pounds, occasionally over 50lbs pounds.
