Responsibilities

• Support and optimize fixed and mobile telecommunications networks for emergency communication services.

• Ensure compliance with emergency communication standards (eCall, NG112, NGeCall, AML, RTT).

• Manage and support ISDN, SIP, PIDF-LO, and Avaya Aura technologies.

• Collaborate with public safety organizations and multidisciplinary teams.

• Participate in telecommunications and information systems projects while ensuring compliance with applicable regulations.

Requirements

• University Degree in Telecommunications Engineering or Electrical & Telecommunications Engineering (completed in Portugal).

• Minimum 3 years' experience in telecommunications networks and critical emergency communications.

• Knowledge of 2G, 4G, and 5G networks.

• Experience with eCall, NG112, AML, RTT, ISDN, SIP, PIDF-LO, Apple SOS via Satellite, and Avaya Aura.

• Familiarity with Portuguese 112 emergency communications regulations.

• Experience in technology project management.

• Fluent English (written and spoken).

• Strong communication skills and ability to work under pressure in critical environments.
