Job Overview
Ohmium is seeking a meticulous and reliable Data Entry Clerk to join our dynamic team. This is a remote, work-from-home position open to candidates based in New York, New York, United States , with both full-time and part-time opportunities available. The successful candidate will be responsible for accurately inputting, updating, and maintaining critical information across our company databases. The offered compensation for this role is between $26.00 - $38.00 per hour .

Responsibilities
- Accurately and efficiently enter data from various source documents into our databases and computer systems.
- Review data for deficiencies or errors, correct any incompatibilities, and check the output for accuracy.
- Maintain data integrity by performing regular checks to ensure all information is complete and up to date.
- Prepare, compile, and sort documents for data entry, ensuring all information is organised effectively.
- Generate reports, store completed work in designated locations, and perform backup operations to ensure data preservation.
- Uphold strict confidentiality and comply with data security policies when handling sensitive information.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Data Entry Clerk or in a similar administrative role.
- Excellent typing speed and accuracy with an exceptional level of attention to detail.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly with MS Excel.
- Superb organisational and time-management skills, with a proven ability to work independently in a remote setting.
- High level of integrity and discretion when handling confidential data.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- A minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent.
