Equipment Engineer / Senior Equipment Engineer

JOB SCOPE

• Maintain equipment performance to support quality production in a cleanroom environment.
• Ensure high equipment availability through effective preventive and corrective maintenance.
• Diagnose equipment failures and implement robust long-term solutions.
• Improve uptime, mean time between failures, throughput, and overall equipment reliability.
• Analyze equipment data, alarms, and fault logs to identify trends and improvement opportunities.
• Drive defect reduction and support process stability in collaboration with process engineers.
• Develop, update, and execute preventive maintenance plans.
• Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Support equipment installation, relocation, startup, qualification, and commissioning.
• Work with equipment vendors and internal teams to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
• Lead cost reduction, spare optimization, and efficiency improvement projects.
• Provide on-the-job training and technical coaching to junior engineers and technicians.
• Maintain a safe, organized, and compliant work environment, including 5S practices.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives across equipment, maintenance, and manufacturing operations.

REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience as an Equipment Engineer in a manufacturing environment.
• Hands-on experience in equipment maintenance and troubleshooting in a high-volume or highly controlled manufacturing setting.
• Strong analytical, logical, and critical thinking skills.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills across engineering, production, and vendor teams.
• Demonstrated growth mindset and willingness to learn new equipment and technologies.
• Proficiency in data analysis tools and methodologies for equipment performance improvement.
