Job Description
Provide analytical support to the Compensation function across India, supporting the design, implementation, administration, and governance of compensation programmes.
Analyse compensation data, identify trends, and develop actionable insights to support evidence-based compensation decision-making.
Support market pricing and benchmarking activities using external survey data.
Prepare and analyse compensation datasets, including merit, bonus, long-term incentive, and salary range data.
Support job evaluation, job matching, and alignment of roles to organisational grade structures.
Assist with the maintenance of salary structures, pay ranges, compensation frameworks, and related governance materials.
Support annual compensation review processes, including salary review, bonus, incentive, governance, and approval activities.
Assist in cost modelling and budget tracking for compensation cycles and key initiatives.
Validate compensation recommendations and ensure alignment with policy, approval requirements, and budget guidelines.
Validate and maintain compensation data, ensuring consistency across systems, reports, and outputs.
Prepare standard reports, dashboards, presentations, and management information for HR and business stakeholders.
Support responses to internal queries relating to compensation processes, data, and governance requirements.
Work closely with Compensation Managers, Human Resources, Talent Consultants, Finance, Payroll, business stakeholders, and external consultants to support compensation decision-making.
Contribute to job architecture, career framework, and organisational transformation initiatives, including job mapping, role alignment, job description documentation, and stakeholder communications.
Provide analytical and operational support on key organisational projects and new business initiatives.
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent work experience
Typically requires at least 4 to 6 years of relevant compensation, total rewards, HR analytics, finance, or data analysis experience
Preferred Skills/Experience
Strong analytical and numerical skills, with the ability to interpret compensation data, identify trends, and produce clear, evidence-based insights.
Experience supporting compensation activities such as market benchmarking, salary range analysis, annual compensation review, bonus or incentive processes, job evaluation, or job matching.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications, with the ability to manage, validate, and present data accurately.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to data integrity, accuracy, and quality control across compensation outputs.
Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate data and analysis into clear summaries, reports, and presentations for HR and business stakeholders.
Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and provide reliable support across compensation cycles, projects, and governance processes.
Experience working collaboratively with HR, Finance, Payroll, business stakeholders, or external consultants.
Experience working in financial services, a global capability centre, or a multinational organisation is preferred.
