Position Summary
The Behavioral Health Specialist - PHP (BHS-PHP) is responsible for collaborating within the classroom team in the development, implementation, and monitoring of effective, individualized academic, behavioral, and mental health programming for students. The BHS-PHP will also be responsible for co-facilitating groups and supporting their teammates with clinical documentation as needed.
Essential Responsibilities
- To ensure effective academic, behavioral, and mental health programming for each student, resulting in progress and program completion.
- To ensure comprehensive documentation of all behavioral progress.
- To ensure the continuous safety of all students
- To ensure the continuing development of professional skills
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in psychology, social work, or counseling
Pennsylvania Driver's License and safe driving record
Necessary State and FBI Clearances per regulations; CPSL Mandated Reporter-Recognizing and Reporting Child Abuse training per state regulation.
