An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Skills Practitioner in Science to join our Vibrant campus in the heart of Canterbury! You will play an important part in supporting students, helping to deliver high-quality, hands-on learning experiences and being apart of their learning journey!

You'll liaise with colleagues and external partners, support learners to reach their goals, and ensure workshops are safe, well-organised, and fully equipped.

Key details

This position is 29.5 hours per week with a salary of £20,996, giving you great work life balance.

Working Pattern: Monday to Thursday

In this role, you will

Monitor and promote excellent Health & Safety practices within workshop sessions

Order, organise, and issue stock and supplies to keep sessions running smoothly

Assist in workshop preparation

Provide constructive feedback and support to students

About You

Are you highly organised, hands-on, and positive about helping others?

We're looking for someone who enjoys supporting others to develop practical skills and confidence, while contributing to outstanding teaching and learning.

What are we looking for?

Someone confident to support and guide learners through practical tasks

Someone with a Level 3 qualification in Electrical Installations

With some industry experience in the Electrical sector
