Donegal Job Type: Full-Time | Permanent We are looking for an experienced Joiner to join our growing Estate team based in Ballybofey, Co. Donegal. This is an excellent opportunity to become part of a diverse estate operation, working on a wide variety of construction, renovation and maintenance projects across our estate. From constructing new staff accommodation and agricultural buildings to restoring traditional cottages and completing high-quality finishing work, you'll play an important role in delivering projects to an exceptional standard. The Role As a Joiner, you will be responsible for carrying out both first and second fix carpentry, with a particular focus on high-quality finishing work. We are looking for someone who takes genuine pride in their craftsmanship and has an excellent eye for detail. Key Responsibilities Carry out first and second fix joinery across a variety of construction and renovation projects. Fit staircases, internal and external doors, door frames, skirting boards, architraves, window boards, flooring, and other finishing joinery. Construct timber structures, stud partitions, roofs, and flooring systems as required. Complete renovation and restoration work on existing estate buildings and cottages. Read and interpret construction drawings and specifications. Ensure all work is completed to a high standard of quality and finish. Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in a safe and organised condition. Work collaboratively with other trades to ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and on schedule. About You We're looking for someone who: Is a qualified and experienced Joiner with a proven track record in construction or property development. Has extensive experience in high-quality finishing joinery, including fitting stairs, hanging doors, installing skirting boards, architraves, and other finishing work. Demonstrates exceptional attention to detail and takes pride in producing quality workmanship. Can work confidently from technical drawings and plans. Is reliable, self-motivated, and capable of working independently or as part of a team. Holds a full driving licence (desirable). As part of our recruitment process, shortlisted candidates will be asked to provide photographs and/or short videos of previous joinery projects, particularly examples of finishing work, to demonstrate the quality of their workmanship.
