Job description

We are looking for an experienced, business-oriented lawyer to join our Legal Team and support the company in its next stage of growth. As a trust services provider operating in a highly regulated digital environment, we are seeking a person who can combine strong commercial contract skills with practical knowledge of European digital regulation and the ability to support our expansion into the DACH market.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working close to the business, product, sales, security and compliance teams and who can translate complex legal and regulatory requirements into clear, practical and scalable solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Drafting, reviewing and negotiating B2B contracts with clients, partners, suppliers and enterprise customers, including contracts related to digital services, trust services, SaaS, data processing, security and compliance,

  • Supporting the company’s expansion into the DACH market, including review and negotiation of German-language contracts, support for Sales and Partnerships teams and cooperation with local external counsel where needed,

  • Providing legal advice on EU digital regulation, including eIDAS/eIDAS 2, GDPR, AI Act, Data Act, NIS2, DORA and related legislative developments,

  • Translating regulatory requirements into practical recommendations, internal procedures, contractual clauses, playbooks and risk assessments,

  • Supporting product, business and compliance teams in the development and sale of trust services and other digital solutions in Poland and other European markets,

  • Preparing responses to legal and regulatory questions from clients, prospects and internal departments,

  • Supporting corporate and intra-group matters, including agreements between foreign entities and cooperation within the group,

  • Monitoring legal and regulatory developments relevant to trust services, digital identity, AI, data and technology contracts,

  • Cooperating with external law firms in Poland and abroad, especially in DACH-related matters.

Nice to have

  • Attorney-at-law or advocate qualification,

  • Experience with trust services, electronic signatures, electronic seals, eIDAS, digital identity or EUDI Wallet-related projects,

  • Experience in the DACH market or familiarity with German, Austrian or Swiss legal and business culture,

  • Background in regulated sectors such as financial services, insurance, the public sector, healthcare, telecom, or cybersecurity,

  • Familiarity with AI governance, data governance, DORA/NIS2 implementation,

  • LL.M. or postgraduate studies in new technologies law, IT law, data protection, AI or European law,

  • Experience in creating contract playbooks, legal knowledge bases, scalable templates and internal training materials.

Requirements

  • At least 6 years of professional legal experience, preferably gained in a technology or regulated digital business,

  • Strong experience in drafting, reviewing and negotiating B2B contracts, including cross-border agreements, 

  • Experience in working with German-speaking clients, counterparties or external counsel and ability to identify legal and business risks specific to contracts governed by or negotiated under DACH market standard,

  • Good understanding of Polish civil and commercial law,

  • Interest in legal aspects of new technologies, digital services, AI and readiness to quickly develop practical expertise in EU digital regulation relevant to the company’s services,

  • Ability to assess the impact of legal and regulatory requirements on digital products, sales processes, client contracts and internal governance,

  • German language skills at minimum B2/C1 level, 

  • Fluent Polish and English, minimum C1,

  • Strong analytical thinking and ability to provide clear, pragmatic and risk-based legal advice,

  • Ability to manage several complex projects in parallel and effectively prioritise work,

  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work with both legal and non-legal stakeholders.
