We are looking for a bright, energetic, highly collaborative practicing solicitor to join our Legal Department at a junior level as Corporate Counsel. This role will primarily support the commercial function including sales, GRC, product & engineering teams.
This will be a highly interactive role that will interface regularly with the company’s Associate General Counsel and Senior Corporate Counsel, as well as the General Counsel, members of executive leadership, and stakeholders cross-functionally at all levels of the organisation.
Responsibilities
- Based in Cork, Ireland and reporting to Director, Corporate Counsel, this team member will:
- Draft, revise, and negotiate a wide variety of commercial agreements, including software license agreements (SaaS and on-premise), maintenance and support agreements, partner agreements, OEM agreements and other commercial contracts.
- Advise on privacy matters and negotiate data processing addenda and security statements and interface frequently with information security and IT teams.
- Assist with and respond to ad-hoc queries from sales teams globally, help optimize the commercial function by seeking efficiencies, assist with updating and maintaining playbooks and standard contracts, and work collaboratively with other members of the legal team.
- Provide support on European legislative developments such as the EU AI Act, NIS2, DORA, CRA etc as well as other legal issues relevant to a software and technology business including those relating to open source, encryption, and data security.
- Provide substantive support to other members of the Legal Department as needed.
- Perform other special assignments, strategic projects or duties as assigned.

Who You Are
- A lawyer qualified in Ireland.
- 2+ years PQE in a top UK or Irish law firm and/or fast-paced, in-house legal department.
- Knowledgeable and experienced in contract law and commercial contract negotiations.
- Experience supporting Sales transactions at a SaaS and/or software provider preferred.
- Familiar with data privacy and security considerations, particularly GDPR. Some familiarity with other areas of law relevant to in-house practice such as compliance, intellectual property, insurance, employment/HR matters, contract management, operations, etc., is a plus
- Familiar with AI issues, as well as being experienced with AI applications (i.e., Claude, Glean, etc.) is a plus
- Adept at translating legal advice into actionable guidance.
- Flexible thinker with the ability to make sound independent decisions.
