Automotive Infotainment Test Bench Operations Engineer
Experience: 3-8 years | Location: Onsite - Czech Republic | Positions: 2
Languages: English - mandatory; Czech - mandatory; German - optional
Role Summary
Operate, maintain and update the infotainment test benches and remote racks so that the full set of planned test cases can run reliably each sprint.
Key Responsibilities
● Set up, maintain and update test benches and remote test racks.
● Take over sprint requirements and prepare test setups ahead of each sprint.
● Flash integrated software releases onto control units at the test locations.
● Verify flashing correctness and validate release usability for further testing.
● Execute integration tests and release software to further test locations per the defined procedure.
● Maintain integration and release documentation.
● Monitor the applicable software release baseline during testing.
● Ensure 100 percent of planned test cases can execute on the given setups.
● Maintain records of bench software and hardware status.
● Support remote-access configuration for remote racks.
Work Experience
Required Skills
● Hands-on test-bench setup and maintenance for automotive electronics.
● ECU flashing, coding, validation and configuration.
● Knowledge of automotive architectures and buses (CAN, LIN, Automotive Ethernet).
● Software integration and release verification in automotive infotainment.
● Familiarity with Android-based platforms (AAOS and AOSP).
● Tools and systems: Python scripting, offboard diagnostic, flashing and coding tools; JIRA, Codebeamer and Confluence; bench management and monitoring tools; trace tools.
Good to Have
● Vector CANoe or CANalyzer and CAPL.
● Scripting for bench automation (Python).
Education
Technical diploma or Bachelor's in electronics, electrical or automotive engineering.
