Mental Health Registered Nurse - ADHD
Job description
Kantoko is on a mission to make ADHD care accessible to adults across Australia. We're a platform giving adults access to online ADHD support - from assessment through to ongoing care. You'll work directly with our clinical team, including GPs and psychiatrists, to support patients through their ADHD care journey via telehealth.
We're looking for a casual Registered Nurse to help us with nursing capacity from September to October, with the possibility of converting into a longer-term position.
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING
- Screening and triaging intake patients
- Assisting with patient escalations from our Customer Care team via our CRM platform (Zendesk)
- Conducting patient reviews and other clinical check-ins via telehealth
WHEN WE’LL NEED YOU
We’re looking for someone available 10-20 hours a week across September and October 2026.
- September - Tuesday to Thursday, 10AM - 2PM
- October - Monday to Friday, 10AM - 2PM
This is a hybrid role - our team works in our Surry Hills office on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays (right outside Central Station), with the remaining days worked from home.
While this role is a casual hire, there’s a chance this could convert into a longer-term position depending on how the role goes.
REQUIREMENTS
- Current AHPRA registration
- Minimum 3 years post-qualification experience
- Background in mental health or ED
- Based in Sydney, with the ability to attend our Surry Hills office on our office days
ABOUT YOU
- Passionate about improving patient experience in mental healthcare
- Experienced in ADHD care, or genuinely keen to learn
- Open to new technology and keen to help shape our software through your feedback
- Committed to staying current with best practice and your own professional development
WHY YOU’LL LIKE WORKING HERE
- Flexible work - casual hours during the day, with the ability to work in a hybrid set up (we work in the office 3 days a week)
- Small team - we’re a small team of 12 people in our Surry Hills office, so you’ll have the opportunity to work closely with the Kantoko team directly in person
- Startup culture - we’re a tech startup, so you’ll have the opportunity to provide feedback that shapes how we deliver care to our patients
- Modern telehealth software — custom-built, easy to use, and shaped by clinician feedback
